I'm baaaack

Hellooooo... anyone home??

The 2nd round of Biggest Loser starts tomorrow and I can't say I'm all that excited about it :-), but I will be excited when I'm wearing a smaller size clothes.

This round will go for 3 months and this time, I'm going to have to do it without my exercise routine of Curves. I just can't get over there to work out. I will have to use the Wii Fit and treadmill for the exercise part this time around.

I will change my ticker information tomorrow night after we weigh in and get our official starting weight tomorrow morning.

Saying goodbye

I'm shutting this blog down... no one else is really blogging anymore and I don't seem to have the time to do it either.

I started this journey at the beginning of February and I've lost 25 lbs.. I'm pretty proud of that fact :-) Will I stop trying to be healthy and lose weight? No way! I've come too far to stop. I want to make it to by 150 goal and I have about 25 more pounds until I get there. Yeah, it's probably going to take a while. I should at least be 1/2 way to that goal now, but I've not been consistent with my eating and exercise habits... but I'm not gaining either!

really? oh my goodness!

No exercise + Crazy eating = another pound. Duh.

So, today... back to counting points and exercise. Today was easy, tomorrow? I'm going to my Sister in law's Tastfully Simple party and I hear the food is really really good! I may eat before I go :-) Wednesday should be okay, but Thursday is New Kids on the Block with friends. Pray I can stay on my plan for this week. It's really hard for me when I'm other people that are eating whatever they want.

So, to keep me accountable to myself (?), I'm going to post my menu from today and will do this every night this week.
Monday

Breakfast:
Blueberry Yogurt (1) 60 cal.
Lunch:
Fish & Pasta (6) 290 cal.
Chocolate Jello cup (2) 100 cal.
Snack:
string cheese (2) 80 cal.
Dinner:
PB Sandwich (7) 290 cal. Apple slices (1) 70 cal.
Exercise:
30 minute - circuit training

I even had 3 points left over today! With exercising, I think you get extra points to use, but I'm not going to use those until I have to.... maybe Thursday night :-)

lesson learned

For those of you playing along at home, you can see that I gained back a pound. After staying the same for 2 weeks, it caught up with me. I've learned my lesson. I'm back to counting the points as of this morning.... I didn't weigh in yesterday, so today was my Monday.

I haven't been able to get back in my gym routine, but hopefully next week will be back to normal. This week, J had band practice tonight and tomorrow night I have a retirement celebration to go to. Hopefully I can sneak in a visit on Thursday when I'm off.... my baby is graduating from Kindergarten!!

Since, I've lost weight, my number of daily points has decreased. Today, I ate well and even had 3 points left over! I did really well when I kept up with my food on a spreadsheet (I use Google docs). With Google docs, I can log in here or work and record my food diary. I also downloaded an App for my iPod called LoseIt. I haven't used it much, but I will soon!
